Muralla park

It is very near the center of Lima city and the Rimac River. The Parque de la Muralla gathers and protects ruins of the city wall that used to protect the city of Lima. Those ruins are now classified as World Heritage by the UNESCO. These objects that have been discovered are now exhibited in a small museum inside of the park. Some graphics and paintings show the evolution for hundreds of years. Apart from being a History witnesses, it has many children’s games, and the inhabitants of Lima come with pleasure to spend a sunny afternoon.
